A Poem

Posted: 2010-04-07 in Uncategorized

I am the Wind

Running a reckless race

Through the town and countryside,

Over the hills, across the fields.

Over the ocean, beside rivers.

Blowing clouds across sun’s face,

Buffering birds flying home.

I fight the trees, taking away

Their covering of leaves.

Stealing boats filling the sails

Of a sailing yacht.

I am the wind running a reckless race

Against myself.
